OGRE is Maria João’s latest adventure – a hybrid of jazz and electronic music. An unusual instrumental line-up and an outside-the-box approach takes audiences on a trip through a world of sounds, criss-crossing the borders between digital and analogue. Maria João’s voice will be your guide through this journey! This second album sees this project coming together to create a more cohesive album with a slightly stronger incursion into electronic territories. But don’t worry, we never forget our roots and plain love for music and playing together, so that’s always there. We have mad loops, crazy synth solos, a japanese rap, a beach to relax and lots and lots of gibberish and gobbledygook. What else could you want?
